Welcome to Foundation 2
Autumn Term

This half term's topic is:
Rhyme Time

This topic starts with what children know and we find out what their interests are. Songs and rhymes open up lots of different themes for us to explore in our first term. They are also great confidence builders and help children to develop speaking and listening skills from day 1.

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a curriculum for children aged 0-5. It has 7 key areas of learning and sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children in their early years settings. At our school this is our F2 class where your child's St. Wilfrid's learning journey begins. We plan our learning full of fun, hands on experiences and creativity - encouraging our children to be curious, independent and resilient learners.

Click on the buttons below to see our planning and the fox and the rabbit for the Early Learning Goals in each of the 7 key areas in our EYFS curriculum.
