St.Wilfrid's pupils supported a local British Legion event - 'Calverton Commemorating 1918-2018' on Saturday 8th September - through leading the singing of a medley of WW1 songs. Their efforts were very much appreciated and the children were presented with poppy badges and enjoyed rides on a dry toboggan run. Later in the afternoon, St WIlfrid's boys' football team played for the Commemorative Cup against Sir John Sherbrooke Junior School. After a close first half, St. Wilfrid’s took control of the second, finishing 10-4 winners.
