This page has useful information about the day-to-day running of Year 3 as well as the areas of learning that we will be covering this term.
Miss Knight is the main class teacher in year 3, with Mrs Henson teaching on Wednesdays and Mrs Wright and Mr Quilty assisting throughout the week.

Useful information:
- Our PE lessons are on Thursdays and Fridays. Please make sure your child arrives in school in their PE kits.
- Forest School will be on a Tuesday up until May half-term. Please ensure your child comes to school in their normal uniform and brings their Forest School kit, including waterproofs, layers and suitable footwear, on this day each week.
- Spellings will be tested every Tuesday. A termly spelling sheet has been sent home, plus you can find a copy in the link below. A weekly spelling game will be available on Spelling Shed to help the children learn in a fun way. This will also be available for children in the SNIP Spelling groups.

Times tables will be tested every Thursday. We will begin with the 2's, 5's and 10's and then move onto the 3x, 4x and 8x table. Please use the links below to access useful timetables websites:
- Children are encouraged to read at home, to an adult, at least three times a week. House points are awarded to children who have read five times in a week and certificates are awarded every 25 reads.
